Need your opinion for this diplomatic dagger

For me personally Larry, I honestly don't think edged weapon manufactures intended to draw a distinct difference between the GO's and Diplos. Though both Eickhorn and Alcoso did show the crossguards facing the opposite direction as you've mentioned, in regards to the GO daggers. And as we know though and shown in their period reference, both companies did have a specific model labeled as a Diplomatic dagger. Though there has never to this date been an Eickhorn example ever located.
Is there some minute differences between an Alcoso GO vs the Diplos in which they manufactured? I honestly don't know. Though I've owned and inspected several GO by both of these edged weapon firms, I've never taken the time to look closely at an Alcoso Diplo.
