To me a WW1 area sawback dress bayonet, looking at the plated blade.
I would not use WD40 for to long as its know to crawl underneath the plating causing more plate lifting.
Here a picture of one in good condition.

Thank you all, i could have added that the blade length is around 25cm.
But now i know that its from ww1 area, i can do more research.

Quite a relic. The Eickhorn trademark you show (back to back squirrels) was used between 1906 and 1921, but I agree most likely pre-1918.
