Portepee opinion please

Hi, I would like your opinion on the portepee on the right from my collection, if it is original. Thank you.

No its not unfortunaly.
the stam is missing its V shape pattern, this one shows only the X pattern, typical for repro portepees.

Thanks for the help, I thought it was the repro. I bought it at a military show in 2005, when I didn't have the knowledge and experience with daggers that I have today and I also didn't have the internet. I bought it long before I bought the first dagger. I wanted to be sure before removing it from my collection.

That's a useful photo demonstrating the differences.

Yes it shows clearly the difference of the pattern of the stam, all others have in 1 way or another the V pattern, the repro has a X or maze pattern.
Besides that it has a few features that do not match an original, but stam comapring is the easiest one to see if its an original.
