Default Portepee's good or post war?

    Hi,
I have these two portepee's one Heer 43cm and one Luftwaffe 23cm I want to use them on two of my daggers but need to know if they are good period examples or post war made. It has already been mentioned on a post I made here showing my WKC Luftwaffe 2nd pattern that the portepee (shown here off the dagger) might be post war? anyway any opinions on these two would be greatly appreciated so I can decide what to do with them.
    Regards, Andy.

Well that's good enough for me your post has helped me beginning to know what to look for in portepee's. They will now go on eBay selling as post war for a few quid. Many thanks.
    Regards, Andy.

I agree with Ger, they look like modern production items.
