Re: Real or fake knife, please help
Hi, and welcome to the forum.
This is a modern knife with bogus added markings.
Cheers, Ade.

Re: Real or fake knife, please help
Hey guys,
Thanks a million for the responses. Well I guess that was 40euro down the drain, oh well live and learn, thought I was buying treasure for peanuts.
Yes I’m an idiot, but to be honest it was my first time buying anything from WWII era and knew nothing about Nazi collectables before today. I’ve spent a really enjoyable day on this site reading as much as I can. I’m just kinda happy that I didn’t but the Knights Cross and SA dagger the same guy was selling.
Thanks again,
Patrick

I am new as well and always post pictures on here before purchasing! Plus like Ade told me ask to see photos of someone holding your item next to a current newspaper or your name on a piece of paper to make sure you are not being scammed. I almost lost $970 to some pictures of an SS dagger. If its too good to be true.........it is! I got a laugh tonight because I bought a " real SS dagger " from a long time member of these forums for a good price. I searched the maker name and looked at some going for $450 and thought how crazy I must have been. Always try to use pay pal or credit card as well so you have recourse if all else fails. From a fellow newbie.....good luck!!
