ss officers sword

can anybody help,i have just purchased an ss officers sword which has the monogramed initials f k on it,i have been told that i might be able to find out the name of the owner through the service records but i have been unable to get anywhere with it,the sword is an early one dating to around 1936-38

Hi Phil, it is indeed a long shot. You would have to trawl through all the SS Officers Dienstalterlistes and then you might find more than one possible candidate.

I would love to see it.
