    Worn but very nice Infanteriemesser 42 Eickhorn made, about the scabbard IMO don’t match with the knife, more pics are needed

    Not in the best condition, but I believe original.

    Very nice "Infanteriemesser 42", ("Infantry Knife 42"), of the Wehrmacht, congratulations !
    This combat knife is rarely seen with a manufacturer stamped on the blade.
    Can you please show us pictures of the back of the scabbard ?

    Furthermore, the design of the blade of your knife is also rather rare to find on the Infanteriemesser 42, it shows the so-called "Hechtklinge", ("pike blade").

    As Ivan noted, the scabbard is not typical of the IM42 but, more likely, of a WWI era Armeedolch, (army dagger), or the Weimar Republic.
