Police Eagle Question

Hello, Trying to research this police eagle but I've not been able to find a sample with the pin and catch like this for reference. No apparent maker marks found. Thanks for any help. Dave

That pin system dont look goot ether, I think it a replacement, It looks like they have tryed to make it to a medal

I've never seen anything like this. I agree with the other comments raised, the design looks 'strange' and it seems like they made a badge of it...

I'am moving this to the TR: Other uniforms and related insignia forum, I think you will get more response there.

It's a copy, just a shape of original police eagle and this one was a cast and placed pin

Thanks for the look. I knew it was unusual but did not suspect a copy, the weight and feel shows good manufacture. I don't know why anyone would bother copying such a common and cheep item. Where is the money in that? It was sold by a reputable auction house in Germany as original. It reminded me of the relic eagle listed by "Nick VR" on https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/battl...ice-eagle.html.

I'll keep looking...
