Default Postschutz sleeve eagle question. Can you give me a hand?

This is the first Postschutz eagle insignia I have ever run across. I acquired a small lot of captured insignia brought home by a GI from Kelso Washington. I'm wondering if anyone could further ID this patch? My research suggests that this insignia was only worn from 1939-1940. But I'm not sure what rank or positions were authorized to wear this particular eagle? Additionally, can anyone tell me what the market value for this patch would be? Thanks for all your help.

I think that Postschutz was the Postal Protection Police, I've seen some belt buckles of them in the past.

In my opinion, Postschutz is a highly specialised subject, although there are modern reference works which details aspects of their uniforms and insignia, including the shoulder patch as shown.

I think that this relatively small organisation was formed in 1933 and continued throughout into the war, although was controlled by the SS (SS-Postschutz) from 1942. The SS association does of course make Postschutz items highly collectible.

Perhaps this armed organisation was more than just a postal protection police force as one of their prime duties was protecting critically important radio communication installations and facilities.
