I think this eagle needs more scrutiny in hand. Comparing to the example in Saris's book, this eagle does have the production flaws.

Unfortunately I was traveling when this eagle was sent to me and did not have access to my book. I forwarded the photos I was sent (the ones in the first post) to a trusted collector who has sold many eagles, and after some research on their end they felt it was legitimate. I have also recently been informed that there may be issues with some of the eagles in this book. Let these photos serve as additional details. Lesson learned.
