    Default Deutsches Rotes Kreuz

Although not really in my militaria collecting field, I could not turn this one down. As I had no family members in the Red Cross during the war, the knife collector in me would someday like to have a Red Cross hewer. As I always display some other regalia with items, I decided to aquire this one for a future display.

DRK buckles are one of my favorite buckles and they do look good displayed with a DRK sidearm. The price seems to have dropped . Five years ago dealers were asking $1000 for one in excellent condition with a frog. Now I see them in the $700-800 range.
