    1 being the principal contractor Overhoff & Cie of Ludenscheid. Again...I could be wrong.

    for me the Ges.gesch. 1 +2 are unknown makers at this time ..........

    Originally it was thought that Ges. Gesch. 1'. was the manufacturer's code....with 1 being the principal contractor Overhoff & Cie of Ludenscheid. Do 1 and 2 represent the die numbers? Ges.Gesch is short for "Gesetzlich Geschutzt" which translates "legally protected" but not a maker. I cannot remember where I saw once that the 1 was Overhoff and Cie but maybe the 1 and 2 could be contract production numbers?

    You see realy imprinting differences.......:
