The Castle of Belver, one of most important and with a unique style of fortification.
During the years of 1223-1248, this was the storage location of the royal treasure.
Extremely damaged during the earthquake of 1755, was left abandoned and used as the town`s cemetery.
During the 1940`s, was repaired to its original shape and structure.

Really enjoying filming this series, and the cold gives the image a lot of character.
I love it up here.

Later on, the beautiful town and castle of Celorico da Beira.
Rain with old slippery stone blocks, oh my god....but enjoying a lot.
