What made you think KZ? Was there an acquisition story with it?

I just looked up the date and it said that the concentration camp you told me was liberated. I'll give out the names when I get it.
If there is any provenance relating it to a KZ then it would make it more interesting but don't forget that swastika flags were quite common in the towns an villages throughout Germany so it could've come from anywhere, a small village, a large town, a private house, a local office or factory. Many GIs picked these flags up as souvenirs and got their comrades to sign the them as they went. Not all swastika flags came from a KZ.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Adrian is quite right. The chances are very remote, and the odds stacked against you. However, the chance remains...good luck, I hope you find that it is what you hope it is!

Carl
Can you possibly show us some pictures of the flag?

Sorry everyone, I had the date wrong. Big mistake I know but the correct date is 5/12/45
It's not looking too good for the KZ aspect of this flag. Here is a listing of camps liberated by US troops-as you can see, there is nothing listed for May 12.
