My grandpa once told me he found a German pistol in the trash in a cigerette box, he then kept it for some years and then traded it for a chair!

What's not to believe? Look at the absurd things GIZMO8Z has been pulling from the recycling center! People are ridiculous- I've seen them throw away Coin collections and fully piggy banks. (I keep looking for that swords, oak leaves and diamonds Ritter, but it must be in the Next block's trash cans....sigh) William

Always the possibility the pistol was 'hot' in some way-used in a shooting or stolen then disposed of prior to your Grandfather finding it-as to the chair-do you still have the 18th century Chippendale?
Can we do this is in discussions not the firearms thread please!

We're gonna need front, back, side and underside photo's of the chair taken in natural daylight. Good shots of the material used for the seat (If any). Is it leather, silk or maybe it's flocked? (Noooo.....it's good for another 10 years yet Ned!)
