Binoculars 1913 stereocto

Hi there!
I'm trying to find out some information about some binoculars that my great granddad sent back to England from Germany.
They have Stereocto on one side, and 1913 on the other.
I cant see any other markings except what I assume is the zoom level on the bottom centre which says 1x8.
I'll try and attach photos but i'm not sure how, don't usually use forums
My dad says that he also sent a dagger back but his cousin got that.
