British kit & equipment under trial. 1960-64. Photographs

I could not find a specific area of the forum for post WW11 Uk military so apologies if this is in the wrong place.

I have quite a few photographs of kit and equipment which was being tested by a unit based at RAE Farnborough during the period 1960 -64.































If these are of interest to members I will post more.

Hi Andy

Great set of pics showing, as Im sure that you are aware, the OG combats, 58ptn W/E, early L1A1 SLR, (identified by the wooden furniture).

Other points to note are:
The radio's which are the A41 "Larkspur" series, (in service up til about 1981/2)
The 81mm mortar and its associated ammo carriers.
And my favourite.......The Wombat AT Gun!
