Hi , well my absolute favourite is Apocalypse Now , but for a slightly "off centre" film I enjoyed The Black Book. A fine effort with a twist (although not a complete surprise!) Leon.

Gunny mate , I love this one Branagh is top notch as ever and the fact they used the original meeting records for the exact dialogue makes this one a fine work in my opinion(I own this DVD too!) Leon.

A particular favourite of mine is an old B/W film called "The Cruel Sea" , very realistic and atmospheric ! I've watched it loads of times !

A deeply chilling film, so subtle and understated and the conversational way they discuss over dinner the plans for the final solution to the Jewish problem.

I enjoyed it but I would not go so far as to call it a great movie, good fun though but the twist was rather predictable.

I rather enjoyed walking with the enemy, because there has been almost no films about Hungry in 1944-45.
