    Hi guys,

I came across this photo recently in a family photo album. The two men pictured are my great uncles, Jim and Casey. I knew that they were in their 20's during WWII, but I didn't know that they served. In this photo, they are clearly in their U.S. Army issue wools! According to my aunt, Jim, on the left, is still alive and kicking in Indianapolis. I plan on giving him a call soon! The man could have been anything from a paratrooper to a truck driver. I look forward to finding out.

Yes, he was! My grandmother told me that he was quickly kicked out of the army, because he contracted tuberculosis. She said that he died soon after this photo was taken, unfortunately.
