    Hi Kris,

    The cross of Lorraine looks to have been crudely repainted to me....And what's the deal with the ribbon??

    Buggered with imo.

    Here's an unadulterated one.

    Hey Ned;
    The saler stated that it was prototype.
    It is well documented and there was quiet a fuzz going on in France about it being sold by the family!
    It seems to be genuine all right.

    I'm not saying it's a fake or anything Kris, just that it's been messed with. The claim that it's a prototype covers this quite nicely though.......Doesn't it?
