What can I say Fantastic cast, plot, and well orchestrated movie! I just love Lee Marvin and his snide remarks as Major Reisman. He was a natural for the part.

Honestly Lee Marvin isn't acting he is just too good for the part. Definitely the smartest guy in the room.
He is relating to every man he interviewed, and knows what strings to pull to see it his way.
Old Lee was in a ton of war movies and westerns. He was a WW2 combat vet 24th Marines, and was awarded the Purple Heart fought on Saipan.
That drive in was here in 1982 when I got stationed here. I got to see several flicks there before it closed. It's now the Alexander Ford Dealership now.by Chopperman
