Good for you, just don't waste it!
From a collecting point of view, put at least half into a savings account as a 'collecting fund' so if something comes along that you would like to buy, you have the cash to do so!
With the rest I would invest in some reference books in your chosen field of collecting and also maybe obtain a few more of the 'safe' and common items you want to collect to give your collection a good base upon which to build.

Or maybe your parents have a list of loans you've accumulated over the years that may need repaying..........?
