Default Help Please. can anyone ID this Medal/Medallion

I am looking for information on this Medal/Medallion please?
It came in a job lot of British and German Militaria. I believe it to be Post War German.
    It is inscribed S M Heinz 1. 1960-61.
It is of a three piece construction held together with the rounded nut seen on the reverse side.
My apologies if this is not a Military piece but the shape suggests it may be.
It measures 57mm across the flat edges and has a loop, possibly for a Ribbon?
    Many thanks in advance.

Help Please. I am after an ID on this Medal/Medallion.
It came in a job lot of British & German militaria.
    It is inscribed to S M Heinz 1. 1960-61
Apologies if not Military related but the shape suggests it maybe.
It is of a three piece construction held together by the round nut on the rear.
It measures 57mm across. It has a hanging loop but it seems too small to take a ribbon.
    Any suggestions please?
sorry for the orientation of the images, I haven't mastered that yet.
    Many thanks in advance

The design of the oakleaves suggest that it is German but it is not
any military award that I have ever seen before.
