Hi to all, I got as gift from a friend this tank (I believe) helmet...
I would like to know:
a) if is real of fake
b) if real... to know what army produced it
c) how to make the throat microphones to work (if at all possible)
thanks to all

If that little red "x" I see stamped inside is what I think it is (Two crossed swords) that would indicate that it's a Czechoslovak tanker's helmet, based on my limited experience with these. I think they were used from the early 50's onwards.
I doubt it's fake, as they are quite common. I read somewhere the earlier made models used recycled German comms from the war.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
EDIT - I've done some research, and the Tank Comms I've found use a rectangular connector, round ones (such as the one pictured) were used in aircraft headsets.
Nitram
Thank Nitram!
So will that be an aircraft helmet? all the wiring seem to be done in quite good detail and the helmet does not seem to have being manipulated (I am not an expert of helmets (yet), but i am in stitching)
Tanker helmet.
