I've only watched the first 5 minutes - but I've book-marked it for later.
It looks to be an amazing film - I can't begin to imagine volunteering for something like this.
On a side note - I like how the children had to report to him after they had done their chores!
Cheers
Pilecki was indeed a remarkable man, and patriot of Poland...sadly only to have been executed by his fellow countrymen under the post-war Stalinist regime.
Well, I've finally finished watching this. Many thanks for posting Stefan - an amazing account of very brave individual and a sad end to the story.
There are three other episodes in this series which hopefully will find their way onto YouTube also
Krystyna Skarbek: From Poland With Love
Cichociemni: Silent and Unseen
Zegota: Poland's Angels of Mercy
