Lithium drink for post ww2 vets bottles

Found these bottles of "Cheer Up "all dated 45-48 used in VA hospitals after the war.A popular soft drink with the public too ,it had Lithium that was banned in 1948 from pop and beer.Early 7up soda had some too.Vets were also given cigarettes ,you could smoke anywhere back then.Doctors would smoke cigarettes walking down the hall, probably had ash trays the operating room

Thanks Rene!Yeah Lithium is additive and brought a new meaning to "Cheer Up".Its now only prescribed for some bi polar disorders.
