Since its Memorial Day I thought I would make a thread dedicating our heroes that gave the ultimate sacrifice. Feel free to share any veterans that you are remembering on this holiday.
I'll start with Donald A Sullivan, a medic in the 504th PIR. Donald was killed in action during the invasion of Anzio at just 20 years old. I found his grave while I was walking my dog in a cemetery a few months ago. His grave was completely overgrown by grass so I cleaned it up the best I could. I just got home from cleaning his grave again and I put down a flag. I forgot to take another picture. I thought it would be nice to dedicate my signature to this young hero.
