    Hi Gent's,
i decided to try carving on different kinds of scrap wood, walnut and maple. it was just for practice, but the indian head turned out pretty nice. i will use part of the wood for a base for the head. i'm debating on how to cut around the head. i traced out a large arrow head, but i'm not sure i want that. so i also traced out just a half inch around the head. i can't decide which way i want to go. i darkend the lines a little, but i'm thinking of taking a wood burner to the lines to darken them more.
