I would just say this: original German navy blue peaked caps are very rare and widely faked via other civil blue caps and or Bw blue caps.

I owned a nice Kriegsmarine junior officer cap in the 1990s that I stupidly sold for far too little money.

Follow Andreas' advice, i.e. HPL2008.
