Thanks for all you gents warm welcome, I’m only start my collection since last year, so far my collection mainly focus on the War Badges medals and the paper items( Photos, post cards), as a student I don’t have strong financial support for the hobby, so I guess will take some times to complete my dream.

Hope one day I can afford a nice officers service tunic.

I have lack knowledge about the South-Africa colonial history, so far I only know British were rule here once.

Welcome to the forum! I know you're concentrating on TR... but I have a Rep of South Africa made MKI* helmet. You might want to add one of those to your collection! You may be able to find them easily/ for cheaper since you are in South Africa.

I did few research of the SA MKI helmet on the web, what an interesting history that I was not award of!

Will start to search for it, the place where I’m stay hardly to find any Militaria flea market or show, hope I can find one in the future.

Do you maybe know the market value for this helment?
