Jesus. An arm as a souvenir????
Looking for the photo albums of Leutnant Emil Freitag, 3. / G.R. 377
Wow, I thought that meme I just saw was a joke.
Very macabre and strange indeed, but at least it wasn't kept as some sort of weird trophy from a dead body. I think its important to bear in mind that it was a doctor that had it, someone with an interest and knowledge regarding the human body and not just a standard US Soldier, and the guy which is belonged to had it removed in an operation, so its not too weird in my opinion.
And at least the Vietnamese soldier has got his arm back though... which is definitely a story to tell when at the bar
Thanks
Danny
oh my god
Imagine the headlines if the doctor happend to be a German.....
Ummmm...........
Can't really think of anything to say about that.
At least he kept it safe and out of 'arms way..........
