Collecting is a major hobby but it's the person behind the piece and their part in history that is my main interest as I enjoy research and reading.I am also a singer songwriter and have played with bands or performed solo all my adult life,I build computers(There isn't a room in my home without one) I like to grow water lilies and carnivorous plants.I am also a big fan of the theatre and film, the arts in general. Not a sports fan which is one of the few things I don't take interest in.Kept pet rats for twenty years, they are and endless source of amusement.I have just realised I have a lot of other hobbies,I don't sleep much.

Here is my latest completed painting - a 20 x 16 inch acrylic: the Henri Toivonen / Fred Gallagher Opel Manta 400 on the Staarvey stage of the 1983 Manx International Rally. Henri won the rally and iirc it was the only tarmac win of his career.

Won't have much time now to do any large scale artwork as I've got a sewing project that has a deadline looming...
