Outside of collecting I volunteer at the Zig Zag Railway at Lithgow (home of the Lithgow Small Arms factory), and also the former main railway line to the Western plains of NSW. Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria travelled over the line twice in 1893 on a hunting trip. I also ride motorcycles, have a few that are being restored and own an Australian championship winning TZ250 GP bike. The bikes I currently have are a VTR1000 SP1, GSXR750 K4, RZ250, TZ250 K, KX80 G1. I have other hobbies as well, but these are the main ones.

Good to see this thread making a come back along with the post a picture of who's talking.

My main other hobby, playing and collecting, I know I'm running out of space, guitars.

A few photos of the prides of my guitar collection: my 1974 Gibson Les Paul Special and a guitar built for me by friend.

Especially love the SG shaped guitar your friend made with its beautiful grained wood. SG’s are my favourite shape.

Thanks Greg! It’s got a British made Sponden ultra light frame, magnesium wheels and lots of other magnesium bits. More of a display bike now as it has a lot of history including being raced at Daytona, and the magnesium would probably be a little brittle.

Far left with the beard, although I don’t have it anymore. They’re a good group of guys from all walks of life and some drive trains for a living as well.

SGs are my favourite shape of guitar too. I only have 2 SGs at the moment, the other being this 1979 Made in Japan Greco copy.
