I can't remember if I already posted any of this, but here ya go again anyway.
For those of you who don't know, I am a big American Civil War history nerd and collector. I started with Civil War relics long before things from WWII, so it holds a special place in my heart. The good thing about living in the states, is that I can find stuff from the war on my own.

These two relics were found in my own front yard. The pointy brass thing is a bayonet scabbard tip, back when they were made of leather and had finials. The bullet is a .58 cal., dropped three ringer. These relics were dropped by a member of the 117th Ohio Volunteer Infantry, when they were on guard duty at an iron furnace a mile away from my house.

I also have a background in model railroading, so I built this to display my Civil War bullets. I hope to build more for my smaller WWII relics soon.
