I am sorry to have to report that John has passed.

This last weekend I learned that John Opheim ( Rescue190 ) died on August 21
    at the age of 56.

John was a firefighter and also worked construction. He also volunteered at the
Cannon Falls Military History Museum and was a big part of the Southeast Minnesota
    Military shows.

I first met John about 10 years ago and although I did not know him well, he was the kind
of guy who would do anything he could to help someone. John was one of the good guys
and he will be missed by all who knew him.
