Seeking Website out of Russia
I have a request and hope someone can help me. I am seeking the website of a Russian woman that has pictures of battle fields, relics she has dug up, and at one point she has pictures of a grave she dug. It si done in English. Re: Seeking Website out of Russia
Hi Dave and Raymond, I had this in my favourites list.
Now a word of warning.
I had not looked at this site for some years. When I clicked on it to copy the link for you, my anti virus software alerted me to a possible Trojan virus from that site. So make sure your anti virus software is up to date and use caution if you view it.

Re: Seeking Website out of Russia
Adian,
Thank you very much for that link. I had wondered on it a few years ago when she was still working on it. Its a great site. I found it again by accident at school a few days ago and then forgot the link...getting old REALLY *****!
Now I'm going to talk to you as a Computer Technician for a very big city school system...your anti-virus software combined with your computers firewall, security and privacy settings is to high. As you have a good AV program I would suggest dropping your security and privacy settings to medium or lower. Several of my websites cause this effect on many people and that's because my websites are huge...pictures are everything in this word as we share who we are or where we live.
I joined the army at 17 here in 1980 and was always told the Russians and any Communist country was our enemy...when I access websites like this I find that many of the guys I may have taken pictures of in East Germany have the same hobbies as me...Its guys like us that have opened the world to others. I just found out recently that I'm a hero in the Nederlands. It seems my unit history when I was a Bradley gunner is a big hit there!
Anyway, enough babbling...thanks guys and looking forward to making new friends!

Re: Seeking Website out of Russia
Hi Dave, glad it is the right site. I thought it would be that one.
After I got the pop up warning, I ran a scan on my PC and the Trojan was detected from that site in the temp internet files folder. I wanted to ensure everyone was aware of any possible problem.
I see you were with 15th Inf Regt. I visited the unit back in 1988 when the 3rd Inf Div was in Wurzburg.
Cheers, Ade.

I hope you don't think I was trying to tell you what to do (its the old NCO in me that comes out when I explain things LOL).
We did an exercise at Wildflicken and while walking to the PX I noticed an odd site...A panther in a work barn on post. It seems the German workers rescued it from the gunner range and were going to give it to a museum. I have no clue what happened to it...also some funny person put a T34 and a Tiger facing each other on one of the ranges for us to fire at...needless to say everyone fired at the T34....Hey it was the early 80's!! LOL
