Thanks to everyone , for your concern and suport , but so far ,nothing has been found of my stolen collection,
all of the facts I've been accused of , have been redrawn by the judge , I could leave the court as a free man (I've been told by my lawyer the DA has another 25 days to continue prosecution)
I hope to get on with my life now and start to begin a new collection , but I'm sure it won't be on the same level of what it was , due to the financial aspect , prices have reached incredible amounts nowadays
Philip, Im glad that all charges have been withdrawn as i thought they would be, i believe that the judge showed some common sense in this matter and that it was on the whim of an over zealous DA that charges were brought in the first place. As for your collection ,well enough said, but at least you will know in the future that there are some close people who you should be cautious around and avoid them like the plague, good luck for the future and hope to see your collection thrive ,,Dave
Thanks a lot for your sympathie Dave , it feels good to hear some "positive" tunes now and than , and yes , I know very well , only few people deserve our trust and faith , a lot of them is to avoid !
Hey Philip, If i ever will see something thats from youre old collection i will report it to you...
Best luck will be in poland. But perhaps i find something here in the netherlands or germany where i often come.
greets DE
somebody was definitely watching you and knew you were not home, thats why it's not always a good idea to tell everybody your going away for the weekend, they probably planned it.
when Im not home I always try to make it look like somebody is home
* parking a car in the driveway
*leaving lights on
*leaving radio turned on
*keep a good watch dog like a Doberman Pincher in or outside with a fence yard.
I even leave the television turned on for the evening if Im going out, just to make it look like somebody always home.
the best security is a friend or family member stay at your house to watch your property, even just to stay the night will stop most burglaries.
when my sister goes on trips sometimes I stay at her house until she comes back and take care of her dog.
Thanks all ,
I realise it won't be easy to proof what belongs to me , no doubt I'll recognize it , but not so for the weapons , all have registered serial numbers , known by the Police and other authorities in Belgium, distributed by Interpol , so where ever something comes to the surface , local police should be able to recognize it as stolen
If anything shows up , there will be a reward for the finder !!
never tell friends about your collecting,as word of it will get around and someone will want to "see" your collection..heck,,i never told my wife what i had,oh to be sure she knew about something, but it was just the tip of the iceberg,,,also helpful in divorce court proceedings that she knows as little as possible about your collection,,,from experience!,,
