Looked as though the explosion occured just as the grenade
hit the water - it likely had an 'impact' fuse.........

Listen to the background noise,,its a movie stunt with pyrotechnics gone bad,apparently the clip was during filming in bulgaria for the film expendables 2,,
the stories on line vary greatly from stunt man killed,stuntman injured, 2 takes made with stuntman killed in first take,then another stuntman injured in retake etc etc etc
