Warrington Cenotaph this morning
Today saw the return of the annual remembrance service at Warrington Cenotaph, last year being cancelled due to Covid - although some of us did attend a short service on November 11th - the actual day of the Armistice. Police were closely monitoring us that day, and we did wonder if we were going to get arrested for breaching Covid rules. But today was more like previous years, although the crowds were kept a short distance back from the actual monument.

The two weeks of poppy selling went well too - with people being just as generous as ever.
Cheers,
Steve
