The thing that is the worst thing of all time is that my grandpa was in the dutch resistance during ww2 he had 7 ss helmets double decal and every thing in it 10 ss/german general coats, coats pants and cap he had everything. Guess what 5 years ago he threw it all away!!!!!!!!!!

My grandpa said that he found many WWII items in the trash. He saw daggers, rifles, helmets, pistols everything and he got a Luger out of the trash and then he traded it after having it for years

rbemer you are very lucky, I wish i could get such things. I have family across the country with a bunch of stuff from my familys military history, but it hasnt been shared with us for the time being. I got an ersatz bayonet for around $35, not a bad buy.

Thanks matt also i had a great uncle die a few months ago i keep on pressuring my grandparents to get me his military stuff because i dont want it to get in the wrong hands and be sold. He won 2 silver stars in ww2 a bronze he went from normandy all the way to germany
