Must be about time for a photograph of your library Luke?
Hi Glenn. I'd like to but my "library" is a mess. Most of my books are jammed into boxes or stacked in piles around the house. The two bookcases that I do have should be thrown out. I definitely need to get a new bookcase.
Thanks!
Luke
I have just finished Sven Hassel's Monte Cassino, tbh I was a bit dissapointed with the book and didnt think it gave the German's in a good light which although true, is very unusual .
Some interesting scenes but just not what I expected.
Onto the next book which I think will be the Battleaxe division
Its worth bearing in mind that almost all Sven Hassel's books were pure fiction. That aside, they are a good read.
They were a good read when I was a teenager but I am not sure I would enjoy them now.
Currently reading Gentleman Jim
Gentleman Jim: The Wartime Story of a Founder of the SAS: Lorna Almonds Windmill: 9781841193403: Amazon.com: Books

Whatever its just an opinion.
I am currently reading Hitlers Second Army
Published in 1943
It is very well written and detailed. Very interesting to see what was available to the public ( in the usa at least) information wise about the reich and its inner working of perceived inner workings at the time.sa.jpg
I always have three or four books on the go at any one time and these are they:

I collect, therefore I am.
Nothing in science can explain how consciousness arose from matter.
I'm starting on this one again. Not sure why but I stopped reading it a while ago so time now to finish it.

Thank you guys for sharing your ongoing books, I've found plenty of new interesting books here.
I just started reading this book. It's about the Battle of Raate Road, which is one of the most known and talked about battles in Finnish military history. I'll have to read a book in English soon again.
