I know, I know.......You've never seen me and Robert Redford in the same room. It's a cross I bear with equanimity.[/QUOTE]

Im sorry Ned, but you have just destroyed all my images of you, I could have sworn you were the guy in the picture with the German Helmet on, I am totally bemused, shattered, forlorn, bereft, and dismayed, in fact i now find out your a Tom Mix lookalike, in the immortal words of Schultz "I know Nussing, nussing"
Everyone there used to think I was a local....Until I opened my mouth.
I remember once going into Dairy Queen and trying to order a 'shake from the girl behind the counter, it went downhill from there on. Everything I asked for was answered with "Err...Excuse me."to "Can you repeat that sir..." to "I'm sorry sir, can you speak more slowly..." to "I'm sorry sir, I can't understand what your sayin'."
The poor girl was getting redder and redder, and I was seeing the funny side of it, and smiling said: "Where - Do - You - Think - I - Come - From?" in a neutral accent.
And she looked at me sweetly and said"Errr......HUNGARY???"
Blondes man, they kill me everytime.
'I do not think we can hope for any better thing now.
We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.
Last Entry - For God's sake look after our people.'
In memory of Capt. Robert Falcon Scott, Edward Wilson, Henry Bowers, Lawrence Oates and Edgar Evans. South Pole Expedition, 30th March 1912.
True that, Dave...I, too, had a mental image of Sergeant Schultz.....now, alas....shattered...

Just looks like sergeant Shultz on a horse to me!
