Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

British Service and Paybooks are odd as they seems a relatively low interest area (not that I should complain) with most collectors happy to have an example and leave it at that but I'm not aware of any others who go out of their way to really focus on them - whereas Wehrpass and Soldbuch seem to be a very specific collecting field with lots of collecting interest plus books and forum areas - the other thing I find odd is that in the German field casualty books are common and in general don't add much premium but with British books they turn up very rarely and usually add a good deal to the price.
