Hello,
I came across this West Point document a few years ago and thought I'd post it. It belonged to William Wallace Ford who retired from the U.S. Army as a Brigadier General. He graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1920. He served as Commanding General, Div. Artillery, 87th Infantry Div. from 1944-1945. According to information that I've read he founded and promoted U.S. Army air observation for adjusting artillery fire at the beginning of WWII.
There is a neat video on Youtube that's worth checking out about his life and military achievements!
