    Default Interesting ww2 British Navy lot HMS Neptune Sunk 1941

    Picked up this lot on the fea market , its a interesting lot of photos and medals to Leonard Woodriffe who was a Chief Engine room Artificer on HMS Neptune , the guy was also married on board the ship but was killed when the ship hit a mine on the 19th Dec 1941 , there was only one man who Survived out of a crew of 762 men ,Leonard served on HMS Calisle before serving on HMS Neptune
