Just bought this nice piece of memorabilia. I have no doubts about it´s originality but was wondering if this paper was given to soldiers only 5-6 of June or if it was given out for a longer period of time in 1944.
Best,
Jan

I have no idea, it's not a tract ( no code), so it is possible.
Looks great, I think these were given to allied forces before D-day.
litle piece of history thanks for shareing, shame gods blessing is used on most acts of war
Hi all,
This was, as rightfully mentioned issued for Op OVERLORD. They were produced in their 10s of thousands and many are in circulation. I have one signed and issued on orders of Montgomery to the 8th army prior to deploying to Italy. I will post at weekend if there is interest
thanks for sharing
I have a few of these and they are becoming increasingly collectable in my opinion and subsequently becoming faked frequently. This one looks good and in nice condition. Did they come with any other bits of paperwork that might suggest the person it was given to or on its own. Either way Nice find
No this one came as it is. It has been folded several times but still looks sharp. The seller is a good and reliable contact of mine for a couple of yrs already. Although I know it isn´t by any means rare it´s one of the items in my collection that I really cherish.
Cheers Jan
