Leaflet "SB/49" is the last Burma leaflet I currently own. It was produced by the British Psychological Warfare Division (PWD) of the South East Asia Command (SEAC) in 1945. Since the Allies took Burma in May 1945, this leaflet would have been produced before or during May. British SEAC then put all their leaflet efforts into Malaya and Siam psychological campaigns. The “S” in the code stands for “Southeast Asia" and the “B” indicates the country it was for, “Burma.” Leaflets for SEAC were printed in either Calcutta or Colombo. After that, they'd send them to 15 Psychological Warfare Division units in Royal Air Force bases spread across India and Sri Lanka to be dropped on the target areas.
The same Reddit translator volunteer as last time on r/translator! helped me on this one. He said this leaflet used the ဗမာ Burma term instead of the မြန်မာ Myanmar term for the country. So, the British preferred the Burma term.
The scans below are of the actual SB/49 leaflet. The last two are Photoshopped images of the leaflet where I replaced the original Burmese text with the English translated text for you.

Hi, lebus12! This leaflet (what have you shown 02-08-2021, 03:18 PM) was distributed not only at Metz. Although there is no registration code on it, this is the issue of SS-Standarte "Kurt Eggers" from " Skorpion-West promotion". Her number -Skw 502/45. However, a different print font is used on your leaflet. This has not rarely happened when there was an additional issue of the leaflet
Hope you are OK Robyn?
