WW2 Era Envelope Sent by Servicemen +personally Signed photo from him

This is one of my favorite items I have in my whole collection. It’s an envelope dated September 1942. It was sent by Sam Carlile. During the war he worked in Communications and Cryptographics, specifically for radio and teletype operation. He would work for 32 hours straight during the beginning stages of the Normandy Invasion. In the envelope is a New York Visitors pamphlet from when he was in training in the area.

I had the chance of Virtually meeting Sam back in 2019 and we even started corresponding via Email. Along with his War time envelope, he sent me a copy of his war time photo with a personally signed message on the reverse.
