This may be water under the bridge now (I'm new here), but I've been using products from PrintFile Archival Storage for preserving my extensive genealogy work: vintage 35mm slides, postcards, 100 yr old original letters/documents, photos, vintage textiles, etc. Wide range of products for almost anything you want to preserve/conserve: preserving sleeves, albums, boxes.

The two premier companies that many museums use in the US are:

    Gaylord Products and University Products

Gaylord Archival | Archival Supplies, Exhibit & Display Cases

University Products - Museum Quality Archival Supplies

They are pricey but they have a very wide selection of top quality archival items.

One of the reasons the museum I curate at I only use these products
