Hello, I was wondering when they stopped using this bayonet. Did they use them in 1914 at the beginning of the war or did they use the 98/05? Any information on the use of the bayonet would be much help. Thank you

While manufacture ended in August 1914, the bayonet was used during the WW1, several steel scabbards were developed during the war but it was falling out of favour with modern trench warfare.
